1. When I click on the "Purchase" button / link nothing happens?
Answer:
There are currently several versions of ad blocking software on the market. This software prevents web pages from displaying "pop up" windows. ESL Job Find does not use this type of advertisement. We do however have a popup window that opens when clicking on the "Purchase" link in order to connect securely to our Online Transaction service. In order for this window to open, you must allow pop up windows for ESL Job Find's website. Each version of the pop up blocking software uses a different method to allow certain web pages to display pop up windows. Please view the help file or contact the company for details of how to allow ESL Job Find the ability to use pop ups.
2. What are cookies, and why does ESL Job Find require me to allow them?
Answer:
A cookie is a small file on your computer that is used to store temporary information from a web page. Cookies are used to store details about your visit to a particular site. For example ESL Job Find uses a "session cookie" to store your login information on the site once you have successfully logged in. This allows you to view different pages in the site without constantly having to log in at every single page. ESL Job Find uses only temporary cookies, so when you close your browser window, the cookie is deleted from your computer. You have the ability in your web browser to restrict cookies from being used on your computer. Cookies MUST be enabled in order to successfully use ESL Job Find. 3. Does ESL Job Find work in different web browsers?
Answer:
Yes. ESL Job Find has been tested in all major browsers available including Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox. There will be some slight differences in how the site looks in each of the browsers, but the site will function the same in all of them
4. Is my credit card information secure?
Answer:
Most definitely. ESL Job Find uses an outside company (Internet Secure) for all transactions. ESL Job Find does not store, or have access to any of your credit card information. All transactions are processed through a secure website which uses the same encryption technology as major banks. ESL Job Find has had to comply with Visa™ AIS standards as well as a strict policy set out by Internet Secure in order to provide online purchasing. You can rest assured that your credit card purchases are secure when using ESL Job Find.
5. Can I access ESL Job Find from another country?
Answer:
Of course. That is one of the main reasons for creating ESL Job Find website. We want you to be able to find employment anytime, anywhere in the world. You can find your first job from your home, then apply for more jobs while you are in the country of your choice.
6. What happens if I forget to log-out of ESL Job Find?
Answer:
While it is never recommended to remain logged in to your account if you are not currently working on ESL Job Find, we do take precautionary steps to protect your security as best we can. ESL Job Find will automatically log you out of the site if you are inactive for more than 5 minutes. You will be required to log-in again in order to access the features of ESL Job Find.
7. Is ESL Job Find viewable on my phone or handheld device?
Answer:
No. Unfortunately ESL Job Find is not compatible with any handhelds or cell phones at this time. We are however looking into adding this as a feature in a future release of the software.
8. I have a picture that is very large in size. Will I have to edit the picture before adding it to Esl Job Find?
Answer:
No. ESL Job Find has a built in function to reduce your image size automatically when you add it to the site. This process can sometimes take a couple of seconds, so please be patient while adding your images to the site.
9. I have bad eyesite, so my screen resolution is set to 800x600. Can I still view ESL Job Find correctly on my computer?
Answer:
Yes, you will be able to view ESL Job Find correctly. Our site has been optimized for 800x600 or higher screen resolution. There is no need to adjust your computer in any way to view our site correctly.
10. Your website loads extremely slow, and I have problems accessing it at times. Are there problems with your site?
Answer:
There is no simple answer to this question. While it is always a possibility that our servers may be temporarily down for maintainence, our servers are very rarely the cause for slow performance. In most situations there are other factors that are causing the slowness. The first step would be to scan your system for spyware or adware.
