Jobseekers

I’m a job seeker looking for a teaching job. Do I have to pay anything to join ESL Job Find or use any of the services?

Answer:

NO! ESL Job Find is a free service to job seekers. We offer you a chance to post an online Resume, complete with a photo upload too! You can also apply to any of the employers advertising their vacancies. *Note: PLEASE read our Disclaimer that appears on every page encouraging you to research any opportunity and BE CAREFUL of all employers you apply to on the Internet. There are thousands of scammers out there and it is virtually impossible to investigate all of them.

Can I upload my own Resume?

Answer:

Unfortunately, no. There are too many formats out there for text documents so we have narrowed it down to completing an online form for your Resume. After initial contact with a prospective employer, you can arrange to send your personal Resume by email to them upon your official application.

I would like employers to see who I am. Can I post a picture of myself?

Answer:

YES! We offer a photo upload and you can do this when you create your profile.

How come I cannot view teachers’ Resumes?

Answer:

No problem! Just email us and we can negotiate a price and offer what you would like to see. Some examples of advertising you can already find on the right side of all pages on ESL Job Find. These are Premium spaces. Some of our rates can be found by clicking the “Standard Rates” button in the Navigation bar on the left side of all pages on our web site.

What if I am not an Employer who has ESL job vacancies but I am part of a relevant employment organisation interested in exchanging links?

Answer:

Contact us through the contact page. Please note: ONLY relevant sites pertaining to the ESL and Education field will be considered.

What if I want to view your prices and product list before I decide to buy a Premium ad?

Answer:

Log into your Employer account and on the right side in your menu, you will see a button called “Price List.” Click it and you will see our full list as well as an example of what you would receive if you purchased a Premium Ad!

My free ad keeps getting pushed off the first page so quickly. How do I remain at the top so many job seekers will apply to my positions?

Answer:

Because we have seen increased traffic, many employers are posting ads and therefore, pushing your ad off the first page. This is why you should purchase a Premium ad as this guarantees you to stay at or near the top for the full duration of your ad. Any free ads that get posted will show up below your Premium ad. This is why you see that the number of times the Premium ads have been viewed is so much higher than the free, basic ads. More teachers will apply to you if you have a Premium ad!

What if I have been successful in filling my job vacancy and I want to delete my ad?

Answer:

From your Employer homepage, you can do a number of things and deleting your ad is one of them. You can also renew your ad and edit as well. Just look for your ad listed in the “Active Ads” section.

My Premium ad has expired. If I want to purchase and post another ad in the future, do I have to re-create all those details again?

Answer:

NO! ESL Job Find has built in a special mechanism that keeps all your old Premium ads saved in a section called “Expired Ads.” All you have to do is click the “Renew” link beside the ad you want to post again.

Is there somewhere on ESL Job Find that I can discuss employment strategies, talk with other companies, teachers and users of ESL Job Find?

Answer:

Of course there is! A brand new Forums page has been created where you can view and post messages on any topic you choose. Just click on the “Forums” button and you’ll see several themes and topics. There is something in there for everyone.
